S.T.A.M.P.E.D. APPLICATION FORM

Got a tough hose application, and you're tired of getting
the run around?
Let PPT-Hose Technology help you.

Just fill out the following "STAMPED"
application, design, and engineering data so that we may assist you.

Size - Inside diameter of the hose requested in inches or millimeters. Also outside diameter if you have specific application limitations.

Temperature - Temperature of the fluid, or material being conveyed, and the ambient temperature of the environment where the hose will be used. Designate in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. If there are any extreme intermittent temperature variations, please note these.

Application - Determine how the hose, or assembly will be used. Please give serious consideration to the following questions:

  • Equipment type?
  • Environmental conditions?
  • Excessive abrasion?
  • Expected service life?
  • Fluid and/or ambient temperature?
  • Fluid compatibility?
  • Government and industry standards being met?
  • Hose construction?
  • Minimum bend radius?
  • Non-conductive hose required?
  • Permanent or reusable couplings?
  • Routing requirements?
  • Suction application?
  • Thread end connection type?
  • Thread type?
  • Unusual mechanical loads?
  • Where will the hose be used?
  • Working and surge pressures?

Material to be conveyed - Proper selection of hose requires compatibility of the tube and cover material with the product being conveyed. Give complete details.

Pressure - Hose working pressures must be equal to or greater than the system pressure. Pressure spikes greater than the published working pressure will shorten hose life. This must be taken into consideration when designing the system, or replacing an existing hose.

Ends - What type of ends are required on the hose if it is to be coupled, and fitting material. Types to consider are:

 Cam & Groove Pin Lug
Tri-Lokt Interlocking (ground joint or washer joint)
Universal Quick Acting Brass Short Shank
Brass long Shank Internal Expanded
Combination Nipple Standard Air Stems
Permanent Swage or Crimp Flanged (built in or swaged)
Sanitary (crimped or internally expanded)

Delivery - When do you need it, and how many do you need?

How do we contact you? Please give us your email, snail mail, telephone, or fax. Include your name and country/city/area names and codes where appropriate.
